Climbing shrub or vine with puberulous or tomentulose stems. Leaves to 150mm x 60mm, glabrate or hairy above, pubescent beneath. Cymose panicles to 250mm x 150mm, flower heads 7mm high with up to 16 bracts, 10 florets per head with glabrous corollas to 6mm long & limb to 2.5mm long. Hispid achenes to 3mm long with white pappus bristles 5mm long.
