Herbaceous clambering nearly glabrous shrub or twiner with stems becoming glabrate. Glabrous leaves top 120mm x 50mm with dentate margins. Corymbose panicles, flower heads 6mm high with bracts, 6-8 disc florets per head with glabrous corollas to 5mm long & limb 2mm long. Mostly glabrous achenes 2mm long with white pappus bristles to 5mm long.
