Hemi-epiphytic liana with stems to 15m+. Bifid scaly leaves to 500mm long, bifid for 3/4 to 4/5 of length, leaf segment to 100mm wide. Usually 4 dark reddish-brown spathes, spadix to 40mm x 15mm, staminate flowers 5mm x3mm, 4-6 perianth lobes to 1.2mm long, pistillate flowers to 9mm wide in fruit with 3mm long tepals.
