Liana to 10m or more, rufous pubescent stems. Coriaceous leaves glabrous both surfaces to 130mm x 110mm. Red tomentose umbels with bracts to 5mm and bracteoles, white flowers with glabrous sepals 1.5mm x 1mm, glabrous petals 5mm x 2.5mm. Glabrescent fruit with surrounding pale green or yellow samara to 40mm x 30mm.
