Climber with young stems tomentose. Leaves to 120mm x 50mm. Axillary or terminal panicles with bracts to 4mm long, sepals 2mm long, petals to 5mm long. Red-brown fruit to 45mm long, coriaceous samam\ras to 140mm x 30mm.
