Woody tomentose liana with grey-yellow hairs. Leaves to 130mm x 60mm, sparsely pubescent above, densely tomentose beneath. Axillary 110mm panicles with bracts to 8mm, Flowers with bracteoles, tomentose sepals to 1.5mm, glabrous petals to 6mm x 3mm. Samara to 40mm x 35mm with wing to 12mm x 5mm.
