Dioecious herb climbing via leaf spurs to 1m, tuberous roots to 50mm x 12mm.Cladode in fascicles of 3-7, to 6mm x 0.6mm. Solitary or paired axillary flowers, yellowish-green 4mm male flowers. Berry to 5mm diameter.
