Erect or scandent shrub to 2m with spines to 3mm long. Cladodes in fascicles of 2-35, to 26mm long. Flowers in axillary or terinal clusters of 2-6, flower bracts to 1mm long, white tepals to 3mm long. Red berry to 5mm diameter.
