Erect or scandent shrub to 1.5m, brownish glabrous stems, spines to 7mm long. 3-5 cladodes per fascicle, to 16mm long. Flowers in racemes to 16mm long or fascicles, white or cream tepals to 3 x 0.6mm with bracts to 2.5mm long. red berry to 20mm diameter.
