Climber or erect shrub to 2m+ with woody stems & glabrous branches, spines to 1.5mm long on lower stem. 3-12 cladodes per fascicle, to 6mm long. Hermaphrodite solitary or paired axillary flowers white with green keel to 4mm long. Red berry to 6mm diameter.
