Erect or scrambling shrub to 2m, glabrous stems with spines to 8mm long. 3-13 cladodes per fascicle, to 70mm long. Racemes to 35mm long, 1-3 flowers with bracts to 0.5mm long, white or cream tepals to 3mm long. Red berry to 8mm diameter.
