Dioecious herb climbing with leaf spurs. Cladodes in fascicles of 4-8, cladodes to 3.5mm x 0.7mm. Male flowers reddish-purple or greenish-white to 6 mm, female flowers to 3mm. Fruit a red berry to 6mm diameter.
