Tuberous-rooted climber to 5m, stems with spines to 20mm long. 1-3 cladodes per fascicle, cladodes to 50mm x 1mm. Racemes to 400mm long, solitary flowers or in fascicles of 2-4, white tepals 3mm long. Red berry 8mm diameter.
