Epiphytic scandent rhizomatous orchid to 5m. Coriaceous leaves to 250mm x 37mm. Terminal panicles to 1200mm long, with 6-100 flowers, with triangular pale brown floral bracts to 4mm, flowers to 40mm diameter pale to dark pink, reflexed sepals, dorsal sepal to 22mm x 11mm , lateral sepals to 19mm x 11mm, petals to 26mm x 20mm, 3-lobed lip to 9mm x 7mm. Green tinged purple fruit capsule to 38mm x 12mm.
