Climbing rhizomatous bamboo or grass, scandent to 5mm, woody culms. Glabrous or puberulous leaves to 230mm x 45mm. Racemes to 250mm longm spikelets to 40mm long, lower glume to 5mm long, upper glume to 7mm long, fertile lemma to 11mm long.
