Sometimes scandent bamboo to 5m with woody culms, rarely flowering. Glabrous leaves to 1260mm x 38mm. Racemes to 160mm long, spikelets to 34mm long, lower glumes to 6mm long, upper glume to 6.9mm long, fertile lemma to 9.5mm long.
