Large woody climber, hairy twigs with longitudinal wrinkles & latticing. Leaves to 90mm x 35mm, glabrous apart from long hairs on midrib beneath. Many-flowered inflorescence, sepals 3mm x 2.5mm, yellow petals, outer petals to 11mm x 2mm red-brown hairy both surfaces, inner petals to 12mm x 1mm. Fruit to 40mm x 25mm.
