Climber with glabrous twigs. Coriaceous glabrous leaves to 139mm x 54mm. Inflorescence to 4 flowers with recurved hooks, flowers to 18mm long with small bracteole, 3 coriaceous triangular sepals pubescent outside to 5mm x 4mm, coriaceous tomentose petals, outer 3 petals to 16mm x 5mm, inner 3 petals to 15mm x 2.4mm. Red fruit to 17nmm x 2mm.
