Scandent shrub, glabrescent branches. Coriaceous leaves to 110mm x 50mm glabrous above & pubescent beneath. Yellow or yellow-green flowers, sepals to 5mm long pubescent outside glabrous within, petals to 60mm x 3mm ferrugineous tomentose outside.
