Glabrous twiner to 4m with coriaceous purplish-green lobed leaves to 100mm x 70mm. Solitary axillary glabrescent deep greenish-brown flowers, yellowish-white inside with purple spots to 60mm long, labium to 30mm x 15mm, column 6-parted.
