Scandent liana or shrub with tomentose branches. Pilose leaves to 180mm x 100mm. Axillary solitary flowers, brown-purple, glabrous within & pilose without, basal part to 25mm long, limb to 35mm long. Dark brown capsule to 25mm x 7mm.
