Herbaceous twiner to 5m with glabrous branches, corky bark. Leaves to 150mm x 120mm, glabrous above, puberulous beneath. Axillary racemes with triangular glabrous bracts 1mm long, 4 green and brownish-purple flowers of 50mm with a 1-lipped limb to 30mm x 10mm, glabrous 6-ridged fruit capsule to 60mm x 20mm.
