Prostrate herb, rarely climbing. Leaves to 137mm x 110mm, glabrous above, glabrescent beneath. Axillary solitary flowers, whitish with dark purple stains & black hairs, or black stripes, utricle to 21mm x 14mm, syrinx to 2.2mm, funnel-shaped tube to 29mm x 3.5mm becoming 14mm wide at opening, limb to 40mm x 14mm with dark purple stripes. Glabrous capsule to 31mm x 15mm.
