Slender climber with shallowly furrowed stems. Leathery leaves to 240mm x 140mm, glabrescent above, puberulent beneath. Solitary flowers with bracts to 3mm x 1.5mm, gre-pale orange flowers with purple tinge, purple beneath to 65mm long, outer surface villous with hooked hairs, utricle to 30mm x 8mm, tube to 35mm x 8mm, 3-lobed limb to 65mm diameter.
