Large liana with glabrous stem to 7.5m. 3-5 lobed leaves 200mm x 175mm. Axillary racemes, pale yellow-green flowers with dull maroon veins 40mm x 25mm with paler tube 50mm long x 18mm diameter. 3 lobes 50mm x 20mm, nauseous smell, cauliflorous. Coriaceous capsule 300mm x 40mm with 6 conspicuous ribs.
