Liana to 20m with glabrescent branchlets, leaves to 330mm x 240mm, pubescent on midrib above, tomentose beneath, glabrescent. Cauligerous racemes to 40mm with triangular 3mm pubescent bracts, yellowish-green flowers to 7mm. 6-ridged tomentose capsule to 150mm x 30mm.
