Robust twining vine with glabrous branches. Coriaceous leaves to 160mm x 80mm. Purple to yellow-brown cauliflorous flowers, in few-flowered axillary racemes. Flowers to 18mm long, tube 30mm x 20mm, lip purple at base & brownish green at apex to 42mm x 20mm. Fruit brown to 135mm long.
