Clambering tomentulose shrub to 3m. Leaves to 250mm x 150mm, strigose above, tomentulose beneath. Racemes with bracteoles, flower utricle to 10mm long, no tube, 3-lobed limb, central one 20mm long. Woody fruit to 40mm x 12mm.
