Climber with corky ridged stems. Leaves to 170mm x 115mm, glabrous above & pubescent beneath. Fascicles of 6-10 flowers, inflorescence to 60mm long. Flowers have limb 32mm x 25mm, slender tube 7mm x 4mm, utricle 150mm x 7mm, deep red with black & white spots & white throat.
