Climber to 10m. Coriaceous leaves in groups of 6-10, to 260mm x 90mm. Axillary or sometimes cauligerous solitary or paired inflorescence with miunute bracts, flower to 37mm long, tube to 15mm x 7mm reaching 12mm diameter at mouth, 3-lobed perianth to 12mm long, utricle to 10mm x 7mm, white outside with brownish-purple veins, white throat, pale yellow lobes veined brownish. Brown pubescent fruitwith 6 ribs, orange when ripe.
