Fruiting Times
Almost glabrous twining woody tendril liana with angled slender stems. Lobed leaves glabrous above, puberulous beneath to 160mm x 60mm. Solitary axillary glabrescent rich purple mottled flowers, bright yellow throat, whitish outside, calyx to 110mm long, utricles to 50mm long, tube to 17mm long, limb 110mm x 30mm long. Scented foliage & fruit, shiny black curved beaked capsule with 5 longitudinal ribs, to 100mm x 20mm
Infusion of bark used for aches & pains or colic
