Twiner to 30m with glbrescent stems. Coriaceous leaves to 430mm x 210mm, glabrous above. Axillary or cauligerous hairy panicles with minute hairy bracts, flowers white or pale green with purple venation, or wine purple with yellow or orange veins, tube to 12mm x 10mm, 3-lobed limb, lobes to 10mm dia., with tail to 20mm. Yellow or orange 6-ribbed capsule to 90mm x 40mm
