Liana with glabrescent ridged stems. Leaves to 190mm x 80mm, glabrous above, glabrescent beneath. Solitary axillary flowers with a bract to 7m long, green calyx with brown-purple lines, utricle to 7mm x 4mm, tube to 12mm long, limb to 16mm x 14mm, yellowish-green with brown lines &brown-purple spots with an orange-yellow spot near apex. Capsule to 50mm x 40mm.
