Climbing white-hairy shrub to 14m with corky bark & woody striated stems. Leaves to 290mm x 280mm with whitish down on both sides. Axillary solitary or paired flowers, 60mm yellow flowers flushed purple, tube to 70mm x 25mm, pink outside, flower bract to 10mm long. Dark brown eed capsules 110mm x 40mm with 6 valves.
