Liana with villous woody stems. Coriaceous leaves to 110mm x 39mm, yellow-brown hairy both surfaces. Solitary flowers with bracteoles 0.6mm x 1.3mm, yellow calyx to 37mm with red-brown spots in throat, calyx tube to 16mm x 5mm, yellow calyx limb 7mm wide.
