Woody twining perennial to 10m. Lobed leaves to 180mm x 200mm, pubescent above & hairy beneath. Solitary axillary flowers with a bract to 7mm long, tube to 30mm x 10.5mm, whitish-yellow to creamy, p[ubescent outside , greenish-yellow with purple markings inside, throat dotted reddish to dark purple, mouth to 5.5.. x 8mm, trilobed limb to 23mm x 30mm, yellowish with reddish to purple stripes, rarely entirely black-purple or whitish yellw. Capsule with 6 ridges, to 50mm long.
