Liana or scandent shrub with corky stem. Leaves to 150mm x 160mm, glabrous above & puberuolous beneath. Solitary flowers cream with red spotting, utricle to 80mm x 40mm, syrinx to 5mm, tube to 26mm x 9mm opening to 20mm diameter, 1-lobed limb to 350mm x 30mm. Capsule to 61mm x 25mm.
