Climbing yellow-hairy shrub with densley yellow-villous stems. Leathery leaves densely yellow-villous beneath to 230mm x 120mm, glabrous above or yellow-villous on veins. Solitary or paired axillary reddish-purple flowers with dark purple veins & yellow markings to 20mm diameter,purple or yellow limb to 70mm, tube to 20mm x 10mm, 3-lobed limb to 20mm diameter. Fruit capsule to 80mm long x 25mm.
