Climbing woody vine with stem to 3m. Leaves to 100mm x 90mm with hairy veins. Flowers with bracteoles, flowers purple-red on top, 3-lobed margin, yellow-white tube covered with purple-red warts. Capsule 6-lobed 40mm x 20mm.
