Twining liana to 5m with puberulent young stems. Leaves to 90mm x 60mm, pubescent on nerves beneath. Axillary yellowish-green & maroon flowers with pungent unpleasant odour, greenish without with brown veins & yellowish within, pale green lip with dark brown veins, puberulent utricle to 3mm long, tube to 100mm long with one lobe 3mm & another 15mm long.
