Twining liana with corky stems. Mucronate coriaceous leaves to 250mm x 75mm, glabrous avove & pubescent beneath with basal lobes. Many-flowered axillary racemes to 75mm long. Flowers mottled green & brownish purple, yellow flowers, red hairs inside, red veins, 20mm x 5mm with tube 12mm x 2mm, column 2mm long. Fruit 80mm x 35mm.
