Twining woody herbaceous vine with leaves to 100mm x 80mm, glabrous or puberulous above, puberulous beneath with bracts. Solitary flowers greenish yellow-brown with maroon markings, bright yellow in throat with tube 20mm long & limb 30mm long, calyx to 40mm long. Fruit a ridged oval glabrous capsule maturing dark brown 38mm long.
