Cauliflorous climbing & creeping vine with sparsely hairy stems. Sparsely hairy leaves to 125mm x 40mm. Pendent axillary cymes to 50mm across with large red-purple hairy bracts to 35mm across & bright red flowers, glabrous sepals hirsute at apex to 4mm long, pink corolla hairy outside to 25mm long. Fruit a lavender berry.
