Large hairy twiner or creeper with strigose hairy branches. Leaves 75-125mm x 40mm glabrous above, strigose beneath. Axillary umbels or corymbs with bracteoles to 6mm silky outside, of 50mm x 30mm rose or purple flowers, corolla to 47mm with tube to 8mm, corolla hairy on outside, sepals 9mm x 7mm silky outside. Rred berry.
