Slender woody strigose twiner with glabrescent stems. Coriaceous leaves to 110mm x 70mm glabrous abiove, strigose beneath. Axillary cymes to 35mm across, with triangular bracts to 3mm long, grey- pilose sepals to 6mm x 6mm, pale pink to nearly white corolla mauve or magenta inside to 35mm long, tomentose outside. Fruit a pink berry to 15mm long.
