Woody climber with hirsute stems to 8m. Leaves to 150mm x 100mm, mostly glabrous above, villous beneath. Axillary cymes with bracts to 4mm, flowers pink with a purple centre, sepals to 5mm x 3.5mm, corolla to 25mm long with 5-parted limb. Pinkish-purple berry to 12mm x 9mm with persistent reddish sepals.
