Twiner to 20m, young branches grey-pubescent becoming glabrescent. Mucronulate leaves to 130mm x 100mm strigillose above hairy beneath. Axillary cymes with lower bracts to 15mm long, upper bracts to 3mm long, pubescent sepals to 3mm long, white 5-lobed corolla with tube to 3.5mm long, silky lobes 6mm long with glabrous margins. Reddish-purple fruit 9mm long.
