Fruiting Times
Large scandent rufous-hirsute twining shrub or climber to 15m. Leaves 180mm x 130mm with velvety yellow down on both surfaces. 3-6 flowered cymes with hirsute bracts 25mm x 10mm, 55mm maroon, pale violet, pink or white flowers hispid without, sepals hirsute outside exterior sepals 15mm x 6mm, interiors sepals 10mm long, pink corolla hirsute outside 50mm long with tube 8mm long with white base, pink or mauve above & dark centre. Glabrous fruit 8mm diameter, brown, orange-red or reddish-brown berries.
