Perennial climber with hairy stems becoming warty. Leaves to 220mm x 150mm, nearly glabrous above & hairy on veins beneath. Cymes of 10-15 flowers, flower bracts to 25mm long, 5 sepals to 20mm long, pink corolla 70mm x 60mm with tube to 30mm, dark purple inside. Fleshy yellow berry 10mm diameter.
