Herb with weakly erect or scrambling stems, purple on lower part. Serrate 2-3 pinnate leaves to 400mm x 250mm. Umbels to 150mm wide with 6-16 ray flowers. Glabrous reddish-brown winged fruit to 7.5mm x 6mm
